The Balayage Technique offers a softer, lighter, more blended appearance. The technique emulates what might happen to your hair if it were to be naturally lightened with the sun, and there's "no line of demarcation ... striping, or harsh lines of color. The Balayage Technique typically maintains the root color and hides striped lines which old, outdated techniques might still show.
